Make the Best Ever Guacamole with Avocado & Chilli. The perfect sharing dip that is sure to excite and impress your friends and family.
1 tub of shop-bought guacamole
1 large ripe avocado
¼ teaspoon of finely chopped fresh red chilli
Juice of half a fresh lime
2 teaspoons of chopped fresh coriander
Ground sea salt (to taste)
Ground black pepper (to taste)
Peel the avocado and finely chop, add to a clean mixing bowl. Add fresh lime juice and stir into avocado (this stops the avocado going brown).
Season with sea salt & black pepper (taste to see if seasoning is right for you). Add the chopped chilli, coriander & tub of guacamole.
Mix gently together, keeping the texture of the fresh avocado. Check seasoning and level of chilli (and add more if you want to make it punchier).
Cover with cling film and place in fridge for 10-20 minutes so the flavour develops – or eat immediately if you can’t wait to get stuck in!
Serve in decorative bowl with your choice of:
- Tortilla Chips
- Hummus Chips
- Anything crispy
TOP TIP: Use as a base for home-made fajitas, or as a side dish with grilled fish or chicken.
Scale up for the number of people you wish. Not suitable for freezing.
