Paul Stephenson from the Alnwick Rum Company
Rum drinkers rejoice! Holy Island Spiced Rum is nothing short of heavenly. Produced by the chaps at Alnwick Rum Company, Holy Island Spiced Rum features creamy vanilla aromas, hints of warm spices, cinnamon, ginger and nutmeg – and the taste of toasted coconuts will linger on the palate.
The rum company, based on Holy Island of Lindisfarne, in Northumberland, has made waves in the world of rum since launching back in 1914. It features Alnwick Rum Legendary Dark, White and Golden Spiced, the company produces Lindisfarne Mead, and launched the Holy Island Rum – with an original and spiced – in 2019.
Holy Island Spiced Rum has become the company’s top selling product – and in the Taste Club box, we’ve added a special treat with a 5cl of the Holy Island Rum to tuck into, too. Alnwick Rum Company featured on ITV’s James Martin’s Islands to Highlands, when James was joined by Newcastle’s Michelin-starred chef, Kenny Atkinson, on a tour of Northumberland. The show championed producers from the British Isles.
